Architect and Artist
As an experienced and dedicated built environment professional who has for 25 years, directed and managed a medium size architectural practice, successfully completing over 500 projects within that period. He is a team leader with a talent to keep projects on track and within financial and time constraints. An excellent communicator with the ability to negotiate and resolve matters on all levels. Ian is fastidious about details and accuracy of information and able to multi-task many projects simultaneously. He is an extremely competent designer with the ability, talent and skill to research, resolve, present and complete complex projects of a large variety. He has experience in managing sensitively and creatively a varied range of heritage and conservation projects.
As a self taught innovative artist, he explores multiple subjects in a broad variety of media. Subjects are strongly influenced by the environment and context within which Ian finds himself. A serious consciousness for environmental matters initiated the up-cycling of old windows as works of art.
